Born in Orlando, Florida and predominantly influenced by his nomadic lifestyle across the US, Zachariah has been on stage since he learned he had a voice, and a desire to entertain. Attempting first to teach himself piano by ear, then taking lessons at the age of nine, he found himself quickly learning the language of composing and re-working songs to his liking. A guitar as a gift from his Grandfather at the age of 15 inspired his musical growth even further. Heavy influences of country music came from his grandfather, and a variety of soul, motown, blues, and jazz from his extended travels.

Most of his teens and adult life were spent in Detroit, MI, where Zachariah learned to accompany other artists in a jazz variety show, and discovered new ways to sing and entertain in cabaret, burlesque, and vaudeville productions. Adopted into a circus family of Detroit regional burners, Zachariah was frequently seen at Theatre Bizarre, known as “The Greatest Masquerade on Earth”. A ballet dancer in his teens and choreographer in his early twenties, he was exposed to Hip-hop, R&B, and Trip-hop which led him to experiment with his own musical abilities and re-compose the works of others into original and often completely divergent cover songs.

As an artist, Zachariah has worked in many different environments both across the US and across the spectrum of what it means to be a performance artist. Now living in Los Angeles, CA, Zachariah has released his first original single on i-Tunes entitled “Be”, with radio play in the midwest and parts of California on both public, and college radio stations. An official music video was filmed for the song as well, premiering at multiple venues in Los Angeles, and can now be found online.

Zachariah is writing and recording for an EP in the works, with a release date set for late 2015 in Los Angeles, and distributed worldwide.
